The foundation “Family, Hope for Tomorrow” was established in Brussels in 1992 for the purpose of organizing the XVIII International Congress for the Family in Warsaw in 1994 followed by the XX International Congress for the Family in Moscow (Russia) in 1999, the XXI International Congress for the Family in Lublin (Poland) in 2004, the XXII International Congress for the Family in Kiev (Ukraine) in 2006 and the XXIII International Congress for the Family in Ružomberok (Slovakia) in 2008. This foundation is working in close collaboration with World Organization for the Family and is a member of the European Federation for the Family (EFF).

We are all deeply convinced of the special place, which the Family occupies not only in Civil Society but also in the spiritual order of our world. This world is very confused, good and evil present themselves in new forms so that often we cannot distinguish them. New technologies and science go deeper into the secrets of the universe and there is a great temptation to believe that we possess God’s omnipotence. This puts us in anguishing situations for our conscience as humans and as Christians.
